Stoneware Mugs
I’m inspired by observing the biorhythms of aquatic and terrestrial plants. The subtle changes of color, texture and shape based on these phases are reflected in my work. I often think of the deep ocean, the quiet landscape that’s constantly being morphed by means of order and chaos. It provides a cocoon to a multitude of enormous change. My works evoke a sense of movement and adaptation. I’d like to think of my pieces as being mobile; bags packed ready to journey onward.
